WRRMA continues to experience increasing water infiltration into our sewer system. This increases operating costs and ultimately increases sewer rates. WRRMA has an ongoing process in place to investigate sources of infiltration and will be contacting homeowners’ when infiltration is detected; requesting repairs be completed as soon as possible. If any homeowner suspects water infiltration, our employees are available to perform an inspection of your system. If we suspect you have infiltration, we ask for your cooperation in determining if in fact infiltration exists.
If a homeowner has ground water entering between the home and grinder tank, or a sump pump entering the system, corrections must be completed. WRRMA continues to operate as efficiently as possible to control costs for the benefit of all homeowners. Sump pumps that manage ground water as well as downspouts are not permitted to empty into the sanitary sewer at any time.
WRRMA employees are available to assist and/or provide direction as to what repairs are necessary. Please contact the WRRMA office if you suspect or have knowledge of any potential infiltration at 717-334-7476.
